Three small samples of rubbed and squeaking balloons are the surface; underneath them, the long groans and friction drones are synthesised from the physics of the thing itself, a model of skin catching and slipping on stretched rubber. The mix is binaural: on headphones gestures dart across the room, answers come from behind the head, and the deep rubbing sits under everything like a floor.
